This song is certainly giving me a headache. Every time I listen to it I get either goosebumps or a tingle at the back of my head. I've never had that feeling before with any other song! Its amazing. Its the guitars and the build up to the lyrics. Oh jez! As soon as the bass kicks off followed by the drums and that hypnotic guitar riff. Building until Tom lets loose with the lyrics. After that it is just a ride on the music.
The first time I really heard this was when I plugged it into the computer one Friday night and I was hoping to catch up my amercian buddy Cindy ("Hi Cinnnndeeeeeeeee"). Anyways, I had a few drinks and the CD had just arrived from the online retailer. So I stuck it in, and put on my headphones. I have a great pair of Technics headphones that I got when I was living in Dundee. They were put to good use while I was djing. Anyway they are a pair of big closed ear headphones that covered my entire ear and the sound is great. I highly recommend you get a pair of headphones as you hear so much more of the song when you listen to it.
Anyway, I dimmed the lights and pressed play.
I was blasted with images in my head and the music sounded like it was being "beamed" into my head. I had to get online a tell people about this! I wrote a Blog and desperate to talk to someone about it. I had to talk. Discuss. What a feeling and reaction. Awesome song.
