ok here is the dilema....
My son is 10 and where we are living some kids have moved in that are bullies. My son is not the type to start a fight and he usually just leaves without saying anything when someone is nasty to him. Now he says he is tired of the kids picking on him and he wants to take Karate classes so he can defend himself and use the learned moves to not get picked on. I am trying to determine if this is a good thing or a bad thing to do. I dont want my son to get the "bad ass" attitude going after he gets in this class and think he can just walk around kicking butt if someone is rude to him, but I also want him to feel comfortable as a growing boy and be comfortable in his own skin.... so.....
Yes to classes or no....thank you!! |
