Ok so you saw the child put his/her hands down in the barrel of coffee beans. A big crowd has gathered around to see what the fuss is about. The parent has become embarrassed and says to you, "See what you have caused?" She decides to go ahead and buy the whole barrel of coffee beans just to save face.
The very next day, you walk into your favorite resturaunt. You sit at the table that you love. The waitress asks if you want coffee and you say you do. You take a sip of the coffee and in walks the parent of the child. The parent says in a tone that you can tell they are the owner, "Did you start using the barrel of coffee that I brought in yesterday?" Another waitress says, "Yes, we have been serving it all morning."
Do you drink the coffee and slump down in the seat hoping the parent/owner doesn't recognize you or do you spit it out, make a big deal of it, and walk out in a huff? |
