i have been looking for my birth father i found out that he had died two years ago but my question i am the only child and i was not contacted my 2nd cousin on his side got all his stuff. and will not tell me nothing about his death or anything. since i am the next to kin why was i not contacted and what can i do .Yes him and my mother got a divorce when i was 5 and the divorce stated he couldnt contact me until i was 18 and i have been looking for him since then to get anwers yes i have my moms side of the story but i would have like his too.Is there anything i can do about this problem and one more my fathers new girl friend told everyone i was killed in 1990. So they didnt even look for me so everything went the next close to kin which was a 2nd cousin. if anyone could help i would be so grateful. GOD BLESS and no i am not after his stuff but i would like to know more about what happen and stuff
ok and i have talked to my mother about all this she really dont know what to do either she feels like me that i should been contacted. she has tryed to remember people names for me to contact about my father but she is having trouble remembering mostly because they got there divorce in 1980 and she has tryed to forgot that life.
ok but since i was the next to kin shouldnt they have tryed to find me. Because taking someone elses word that a child died isnt a good thing.yes i had to adult because of things that happened to me from 3 to 5years old and i wanted to know why but since i cannt get the question anwered now. i did get the death cert. and it says unknown under reason of death. so its alittle fishy for me to belaive that people take others word. i know i am not the best speller and i am sorry enlish wasnt my strong subjust.
should i keep trying to find other family
or
stop and forgot it and not know any of them on that side
if you have any help for me i would most grateful |
