I got a sinus infection about two weeks ago. I let it run it's course but now I can't smell a thing. My sinuses are clear but no smell. In case you didn't know, 80% of taste is the smell. You tongue can only taste 5 different things but it's the smell that gives food flavor. So now I can't taste my food either. I'm hoping that my sense of smell will come back soon, but I'm not sure because I can't find anything on WebMD.
Should I go to the doctor?
My fear is that the doctor says I'm fine just wait a week or two. Then I just wasted my time and money so another doctor can do nothing and get paid. |
