Highway Mishap!

I was driving down the highway the other day when out of no where something hard hit my windshield and cracked it. The closest vehicle was almost 100 yards away so I wasn't quite sure what the object was that hit it. My question is since the windshield is cracked should I go for a Repair or Replacement. The crack is less then the size of a dime and slightly below the drivers view.
