Ok so I have been having a hard few days. My mom overdosed on some pills yesterday and she is now in ICU, Her blood pressure is not stable and now she is on some breathing thing. She is responsive and all, so tonight while me and my sister were up there she just keep saying we screwed up her plan of killing herself and she does not want to be alive anymore. This is a hard thing to hear, I just want to know how you all would have responded to this.
This is what I said since my mom does have a sense of humor and was laughing with us about certian stuff (she is still kind of out of it though) I said "Mom we are your kids we are supposed to mess up your plans that's our job"
Would you have responded in the same mannor or something diffrent?
Oh and no this is not for attention to all those who may think so, I just don't know if that was a good way to respond.. I have never dealt with anything like this before. |
