Grandchildren are wonderful. I remember when my daughter was born, my father used to spoil her and then when my son was born, oh God, who let up the flood gates. Trying to be a parent with grandparents coming behind them saying, it's okay. Like Bill Cosby said, that is not the man that I grew up with. If you ever get a chance watch Bill Cosby Himself.
Anyway, so now I am a grandfather, and my grandson was the commander of the weekend. We went to the beach, on the ferry, to the zoo, etc. Now I am the grandparent, and like all other, I love my grandchild and tend to spoil him, but thats okay because my daughter is trying to figure out who this man is that looks like her father.
I can't think of anything I would rather be doing than spending time with him and he is only 3. Just wait til he is growing more.
Now I think I'll take a nap.
