If I had only one breath. Would it be for you. If I could look one last time. Would my eyes be yours to. If my last thought belonged to you. Would it make it to your soul. If my heart could beat only once. Would yours ever know. A beauty like yours so rare. I should offer you nothing less. To look upon you each day. My eyes would never want to rest.

My world grows darker. As each day comes around. My nights and days collide. Without even a sound. Like being left barren and cold. With shelter nowhere in sight. The skys no longer visable. The sun sheds me no light. Sinking deeper into darkness. Becoming lost in this abyss. Trying to remember. What is gone what I miss. But some memorys now to distant. Faded others have begun. I wonder how much longer. Before all my thoughts are gone. How long will I drift. In this empty space. Is this my forever. My final resting space. If this is my punishment. For all my past mistakes. I wish my life would end. And my God my soul to take.

Her smile comes to me. Across a deep blue sea. A day without it. I never want to see. A day without sun. Thats what my world would be. If never ever again. If she never again smiled at me.

Sleep prys into my head. And I begin to dream of you. With all the distance between us. Theres nothing else I can do. Images of you float through my head. As my heart smiles at night. My mind holds you as long as it can. Till dawns morning light. Another day to let go by. More time with you being gone. More of my soul crying. When will it end,how long.

The time grows longer. Minutes now feel like days. The slow ticking of the clock. In my head forever stays. My scenery never changing. The walls only close further in. Not sure where my world stopped. And this one began. This world so strange. So different from mine. Turns ever so slow. Beyond normal time. A dream where I cannot awake. A hole where I continue to fall. I reach out for control. But I have none at all. For now I am lost. My hands bound in chain. Wondering about my world. Or if I'll see it again.

My heart could grow no richer. From any toils man can do. My heart has found its wealth. When I fell in love with you. My soul can fly higher. Than any bird could ever soar. My soul keeps flying higher. Each day it loves you more. My mind can think faster. Than any computer or man before. My mind races for the answers. Because you it does adore. You alone make me better. I give you my heart upon one knee. It took a person such as you. To make a better me.

A smile slowly returns. As thoughts of you cross my mind. Our hearts forever linked. For us an unbreakable bind. Soon you will return to me. From my arms again you'll never go. The lonliness I've felt. Again I will never know. This last bit of time. That we have been apart. Will make our love feel new. Like it did at the start. My love for you never faulters. It stays strong even without you near. Soon you will be in my arms. And wash away my fears.

I wait for my night. Soon it will come. My heart comes alive. When the day is done. Days so long. Often so full of pain. I drift from reality. And all that is sane. The days hold all my horrors. The nights all my dreams. If the sun never rose again. I would be happy so it would seem. Forever then I could dream. And be with you forever on. If God would grant my wish. For eternity the sun would be gone.
