One of my best mates, a Northern Irish lad, has a son from a previous marriage. Whilst he has always enjoyed women, music (a great guitarist and songwriter), beer and the odd narcotic, he seems to have gone off the rails a little recently...
Taking money out of teh till of teh business he runs for someone else - to spend on drink and, well, 'getting by'. He is drinking a lot every single day. Forgetting to take his son to school - spending his g/f's (a good friend of min) money leaving none for electricity etc....
The qyestion is - should I confront him? He is obvioulsy deeply unhappy with his life. He is a closed book and rarely talks about his problems, thoughts or feelings.
Should I give him a kick up the arse, or not get involved? if anyone has any advice about how I could handle this. I woudl be most grateful
