She follows broken footsteps,
toward the rocky ledge.
The flames have her surrounded,
and she is at the edge.
Invisible for all who pass,
this girl who gave it all.
I see her leaning forward,
And then I see her fall.
I feel the wind across her,
Caressing her once more.
I see the water clearly now,
To cleanse her, evermore.
The fire dances wildly as she
soars into her place.
Where she will meet the earth
and then feel it's embrace.
The mask of who I want to be
is melting to my skin.
I feel the searing pain of death
This hell on Earth will win.
