How many hundred times have we all been accosted to add this person or that one.... only to find out they have blocked everyone from approaching them?
It is a theme I find prevalent in the extreme, and faced daily by the spam filters of my inbox.
This is a social network, and not everyone who asks to be a friend will end up being a bosom buddy. You have to have somewhat of a thick skin to survive and develop a devil may care attitude.
If you fail to do this, and must end up blocking everyone from being a fan and a friend, reserving yourself to only the few, you have missed the point of being on CT entirely. When that day inevitably comes, and you then must whine about no one chatting with you, don't fill my my inbox with chattel items.

For this, I get posts of Penis's and insane laughter? I remind myself this is the internet, where ANYTHING can happen, and realize they had even more boredom on their hands than I.
Yet along with this, time wise, I get chewed out by a friend for not sending a real present to them for their birthday. Ok, missing it I deserve the lambastement but come on, they never displayed their birthday, never told me their birthday was coming up, and certainly never told me they expected me to participate! Any one of them would have done the trick to cue me in.
Further, I have suddenly gone from evil writer of schlock to their beloved! Uhm..... when did this occur? I hope they would have told me so I could start enjoying my side of the bennefits.
I guess I am supposed to read minds once again! And here I've gone and told everyone I flunked that class. But then again, who listened?
