Soon Soon, the day will come I feel it in my heart, when we can be together and no longer kept apart. Soon, things will change no more lonely nights, for in your arms I'll be where all is perfectly right. Soon, the ache will cease of wanting you here with me, each morning I'll awaken by your side a place I have longed to be. Soon, the tears won't flow so frequently from my eyes, for we'll spend our lives together with no more painful goodbyes. Soon, two people in love will be joined through eternity, overcoming any and all obstacles that have been set before you and me. Soon, we'll pledge those sacred vows coming together as husband and wife, promising "till death do us part" this commitment will last beyond life. Each Time I Close My Eyes My eyes, mind and heart can clearly see the view, each time I close my eyes this picture forms of you A burning love for me shimmering brighter then the stars, like the sun on the water I see this in your eyes Your voice so warm and gentle reminds me of the sea, a little rough at times but never drowning me Your shoulders, like a horizon both broad and vast, willing to ease my burdens with nothing in return, do you ask Your touch, is gentle like a summers breeze warm, but never brisk as it caresses me The brilliance of the sun I see in your smile, giving off vibrant rays that one can see for miles Although we are apart a true heart never dies, for you are always here each time I close my eyes. Do You Know Do you know... how I feel... when we are apart? Tears are never ending from an aching in my heart. Do you know... how I feel... without you by my side? Still The Sun STILL rises, each morning of the day, giving warmth to the earth, from each golden ray The birds STILL sing, their sounds fill the air, no worries in the world; they fly on without a care. The breeze STILL moves, gently to and fro, softly it touches all, no matter where it goes. The moon STILL shines, through the dark of night; signs of life appear hidden, but not truly out of sight. The stars STILL twinkle, in the darkened sky, forming constellations, right before our eyes. STILL... all of this, as beautiful as it sounds, holds little importance, without you around.
