Is there anyone better at wasting money then the U.S. government?� Despite the sequester and all of the talk about “deep cutbacks”, the federal government continues to waste money in some of the most outrageous ways imaginable.� For example, does the U.S. government really have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to study the size and shape of the reproductive organs of ducks?� Does the U.S. government really have to spend 1.5 million dollars to study why so many lesbians are overweight?� There is so much waste that could still be cut out of the federal budget, and yet the very small sequester cuts that just happened are being described as “catastrophic” by many of our politicians.� But you know what?� The federal government will still spend more money in fiscal year 2013 than it did in fiscal year 2012 even after the sequester cuts are factored in.� So if this is how much whining our politicians will do even though government spending is still going up, what would they do if we were actually forced to start living within our means at some point?� That is something to think about.� In any event, please show this article to anyone that believes that the U.S. government is actually “tightening the belt”.� Sadly, the truth is that the federal government is still wasting our money in some of the most frivolous ways that you could possibly imagine.

The following are some of the completely outrageous ways that the U.S. government is wasting money…

#1 The National Science Foundation has given�$384,949 to Yale University to do a study on “Sexual Conflict, Social Behavior and the Evolution of Waterfowl Genitalia”.� Try not to laugh, but much of this research involves examining and measuring the reproductive organs of male ducks.

#2 The IRS spent�$60,000 on a film parody of “Star Trek” and a film parody of “Gilligan’s Island”.� Internal Revenue Service employees were the actors in the two parodies, so as you can imagine the acting was really bad.

#3 The National Institutes of Health has given�$1.5 million to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts to study why “three-quarters” of lesbians in the United States are overweight and why most gay males are not.

#4 The National Institutes of Health has also spent�$2.7 million to study why lesbians have more “vulnerability to hazardous drinking”.

#5 The U.S. government is giving sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt even though the new president of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi (a member of the Muslim Brotherhood), constantly makes statements�such as the following…

“Dear brothers, we must not forget to nurse our children and grandchildren on hatred towards those Zionists and Jews, and all those who support them”

#6 During 2012, the salaries of Barack Obama’s three climate change advisers combined came to a grand total of�more than $370,000.

#7 Overall, 139 different White House staffers were making�at least $100,000during 2012, and there were 20 staffers that made the maximum of�$172,200.

#8 Amazingly, U.S. taxpayers spend�more than 1.4�billion dollars a year on the Obamas.� Meanwhile, British taxpayers only spend about� 58 million dollars on the entire royal family.

#9 During 2012,�$25,000 of federal money was spent on a promotional tour for the Alabama Watermelon Queen.

#10 The U.S. government spent�$505,000 “to promote specialty hair and beauty products for cats and dogs” in 2012.

#11 NASA spends�close to a million dollars a year developing a menu of food for a manned mission to Mars even though it is being projected that a manned mission to Mars is still decades away.

#12 During 2012, the federal government spent�15 million dollars to help Russian weapons institutes recruit nuclear scientists.

#13 Over the past 15 years, a total of approximately�$5.25 million has been spent on hair care services for the U.S. Senate.

#14 The U.S. government spent�27 million dollars to teach Moroccans how to design and make pottery in 2012.

#15 At a time when we have an�epidemic of unemployment in the United States, the U.S. Department of Education is spending�$1.3 million to “reduce linguistic, academic, and employment barriers for skilled and low-skilled immigrants and refugees, and to integrate them into the U.S. workforce and professions.”

#16 The federal government still sends about�20 million dollars a year to the surviving family members of veterans of World War I, even though World War I ended 94 years ago.

#17 The U.S. government is spending approximately�3.6 million dollars a year to support the lavish lifestyles of former presidents such as George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

#18 During fiscal 2012, the National Science Foundation gave researchers at Purdue University�$350,000.� They used part of that money to help fund a study that discovered that if golfers imagine that a hole is bigger it will help them with their putting.

#19 The U.S. government is giving�hundreds of millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority every year.

#20 Federal agencies have purchased a total of�approximately 2 billion rounds of ammunition over the past 10 months.� It is claimed that all of this ammunition is needed for “training purposes”.

#21 During 2012, the National Science Foundation spent $516,000 on the creation of a video game called “Prom Week” which apparently simulates “all the social interactions of the event.”

#22 If you can believe it,�$10,000 of U.S. taxpayer money was actually used to purchase talking urinal cakes up in Michigan.

#23 When Joe Biden and his staff took a trip to London back in February, the hotel bill cost U.S. taxpayers�$459,388.65.

#24 Joe Biden and his staff also stopped in Paris for one night back in February.� The hotel bill for that one night came to�$585,000.50.

#25 If you can believe it,�close to 15,000 retired federal employees are currently collecting federal pensions for life worth at least $100,000 annually.� That list includes such names as Newt Gingrich, Bob Dole, Trent Lott, Dick Gephardt and Dick Cheney.

#26 The U.S. Department of Agriculture has spent�$300,000 to encourage Americans to eat caviar.

#27 The National Institutes of Health recently gave�$666,905 to a group of researchers that is conducting a study on the benefits of watching reruns on television.

#28 The National Science Foundation has given�1.2 million dollars to a team of “scientists” that is spending part of that money on a study that is seeking to determine whether elderly Americans would benefit from playing World of Warcraft or not.

#29 The National Institutes of Health recently gave�$548,731 to a team of researchers that concluded that those that drink heavily in their thirties also tend to feel more immature.

#30 The National Science Foundation recently spent�$30,000 on a study to determine if “gaydar” actually exists.� This is the conclusion that the researchers reached at the end of the study….

#3 The General Services Administration spent�$822,751 on a “training conference” for 300 west coast employees at the M Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Among the “excessive, wasteful and in some cases impermissable” spending the inspector general documented: $5,600 for three semi-private catered in-room parties and $44 per person daily breakfasts; $75,000 for a “team-building” exercise — the goal was to build a bicycle; $146,000 on catered food and drinks; and $6,325 on commemorative coins in velvet boxes to reward all participants for their work on stimulus projects. The $31,208 “networking” reception featured a $19-per-person artisanal cheese display and $7,000 of sushi. At the conference’s closing-night dinner, employees received “yearbooks” with their pictures, at a cost of $8,130.

#4 Do you remember when credit rating agency Egan Jones downgraded U.S. government debt�from AA+ to AA?� Well, someone in the federal government apparently did not like that at all.� According�to Zero Hedge, the SEC plans to file charges against Egan Jones for “misstatements” on a regulatory application with the SEC.

Normally, the SEC does not go after anyone.� After all, when is the last time a major banker went to prison?

No, the truth is that the SEC is usually just a huge waste of taxpayer money.� According�to ABC News, one investigation found that 17 senior SEC officials had been regularly viewing pornography while at work.� While the American people were paying their salaries, this is what senior SEC officials were busy doing…

One senior attorney at SEC headquarters in Washington spent up to eight hours a day accessing Internet porn, according to the report, which has yet to be released. When he filled all the space on his government computer with pornographic images, he downloaded more to CDs and DVDs that accumulated in boxes in his offices.

An SEC accountant attempted to access porn websites 1,800 times in a two-week period and had 600 pornographic images on her computer hard drive.

Another SEC accountant used his SEC-issued computer to upload his own sexually explicit videos onto porn websites he joined.

#28 The National Science Foundation recently spent�$200,000 on a study that examined how voters react when politicians change their stances on climate change.

#29 The federal government recently spent�$484,000 to help build a Mellow Mushroom pizzeria in Arlington, Texas.

#30 At this point, China is holding over a trillion dollars of U.S. government debt.� But that didn’t stop the United States from sending�17.8 million dollars in foreign aid to China in 2011.

The mainstream media and the federal government�will soon have the blood of the world on it’s hands.

Radiation from the Fukushima Nuclear Plant disaster in Japan is now actively in the ecosystem all along the North American west coast… even the sea weed is now radiated.� The�Vancouver Sun�reported one year ago that the seaweed tested from waters off the coast of British Columbia were 4 times the amount considered safe.� No further test results were released after the initial report.

The governments of the United States and Canada are not conducting tests for radioactivity – at least not to the knowledge of the public.� Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has agreed to continue purchasing�seafood from Japan, despite the fact that the�food is not being tested for radioactive contamination.� Last November, independent testing in Japan showed 65 per cent of the catches tested positive for cesium (a radioactive material).� Instead of refusing to purchase the poisoned fish, food safety agencies in both the United States and Canada have simply raised the “acceptable level of radiation.”� We can’t go offending the Japanese after promising to buy their tainted goods, now can we?

After the North American governments refused to fund testing, oceanographer Ken Buesseler, a senior scientist at the non-profit Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in Woods Hole, Mass, along with Nicholas Fisher, a marine sciences professor at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and other concerned scientists, managed to secure private funding for a Pacific research voyage.� The results?

Cesium levels in the Pacific had initially gone up an astonishing 45 million times above pre-accident levels. The levels then declined rapidly for a while, but after that, they unexpectedly levelled off.

In July, cesium levels stopped declining and remained stuck at 10,000 times above pre-accident levels.

This means the ocean isn’t diluting the radiation as expected. If it had been, cesium levels would have kept falling.

The finding suggests that�radiation is still being released into the ocean long after the accident in March, 2011.

Less than two weeks after the tsunami and subsequent nuclear disaster, Michael Kane, an investigative journalist,�reported, “In the wake of the continuing nuclear tragedy in Japan, the United States government is still moving quickly to increase the amounts of radiation the population can “safely” absorb by raising the safe zone for exposure to levels designed to protect the government and nuclear industry more than human life.”

The radiation has absolutely reached the shores of North America.� Water samples from across the continent have tested positive for unsafe levels of radioactivity.��The levels exceeded federal drinking water thresholds, known as maximum contaminant levels, or MCL, by as much as 181 times.”This means that the�complete ecosystem of the Pacific Ocean is now poisoned with radiation and we aren’t being warned.

Samples of milk taken across the United States have shown�radiation at levels 2000 percent higher than EPA maximums.��The reason that milk is so significant is that it it representative of the entire food supply.� According to an article published on�Natural News, “Cows consume grass and are exposed to the same elements as food crops and water supplies. In other words, when cows’ milk starts testing positive for high levels of radioactive elements, this is indicative of�radioactive contamination of the entire food supply.”

The�GMO�Food and Drug�Pushers�Administration and the EnvironmentalDeception�Protection Agency, instead of refusing to prohibit the sale of tainted foods and mandatory testing of foods produced and harvested from the Pacific Coast, have simply raised the�“acceptable levels”� of radioactive material in foods.

Clearly, the “it’s-all-for-your-own-good” government will not protect us, or even inform us of the dangers so we can protect ourselves, because it might dip into the pockets of the global elite, the nuclear energy industry, and the food industries.� There is big money behind this cover-up. Refusing to purchase and consume their tainted goods is the best way to fight back, while keeping our families safe and healthy.

How can we protect ourselves? First, be aware of what items are likely to be highly tainted.

1.)��SEAFOOD:� Question the origin of ALL seafood.� Fish and crustaceans from the Pacific�Ocean should all be considered to be�poisoned with radiation.

2.)��WATER:� The rainfall and snowfall are all radiated.��Do not drink any water that has not been filtered.�� The tap water that flows from your faucet has NOT been treated to rid it of radioactive particles. A recent report from�the�NY Times�stated, “A rooftop water monitoring program managed by UC Berkeley’s Department of Nuclear Engineering detected substantial spikes in rain-borne iodine-131 during torrential downpours�…

3.)�DAIRY PRODUCTS:� Milk and milk products from the West Coast states currently have the highest levels of radiation in North America.

4.)��PRODUCE:��Leafy Vegetables, Wines, Tomatoes, Strawberries….all produce from California or any other West Coast State are also likely to be tainted.

5.)��MEAT:� If a animal eats any leafy vegetable all along the West Coast, that animal has consumed radiation, and is poisoned.� This is any animal from cows, pigs, goats, sheep to wild deer and other game.

Instructional material in two school districts teach that racial diversity today can be traced back to Noah’s sons, a long-discredited claim that has been a foundational component of some forms of racism.
Religious bias is common, with most courses taught from a Protestant — often a conservative Protestant — perspective. One course, for example, assumes Christians will at some point be “raptured.” Materials include a Venn diagram showing the pros and cons of theories that posit the rapture before the returning Jesus’ 1,000-year reign and those that place it afterward. In many courses, the perspectives of Roman Catholics, Orthodox Christians and Jews are often left out.
Anti-Jewish bias — intentional or not — is not uncommon. Some courses even portray Judaism as a flawed and incomplete religion that has been replaced by Christianity.
Many courses suggest or openly claim that the Bible is literally true. “The Bible is the written word of God,” students are told in one PowerPoint presentation. Some courses go so far as to suggest that the Bible can be used to verify events in history. One district, for example, teaches students that the Bible’s historical claims are largely beyond question by listing biblical events side-by-side with historical developments from around the globe.
Course materials in numerous classes are designed to evangelize rather than provide an objective study of the Bible’s influence. A book in one district makes its purpose clear in the preface: “May this study be of value to you. May you fully come to believe that ‘Jesus is the Christ, the son of God.’ And may you have ‘life in His name.’”
A number of courses teach students that the Bible proves Earth is just 6,000 years old.
Students are taught that the United States is a Christian nation founded on the Christian biblical principles taught in their classrooms.
Academic rigor is so poor that many courses rely mostly on memorization of Bible verses and factoids from Bible stories rather than teaching students how to analyze what they are studying. One district relies heavily on Bible cartoons from Hanna-Barbera for its high school class. Students in another district spend two days watching what lesson plans describe as “the historic documentary Ancient Aliens,” which presents “a new interpretation of angelic beings described as extraterrestrials.”

And that’s not even all of the offenses being carried out using tax payer dollars.

This is the exact reason that church and state are to remain�separate, now more than ever: the religious right in this country simply cannot keep their religion (and racism) to themselves. Every time they secure the ability to shove their distorted version of Christianity down the throats of everyone else, they take it. Once upon a time they pretended they would do no such thing but we’re past such faint protestations now. These days they simply insist that it’s their “God-given constitutional”�right�to spread their religion (and�only�their religion) to a captive audience.

Texas has succeeded in�institutionalizing�ignorance, hate and racism. Just like Baby Jesus would have wanted.

Ron Paul, in his historic farewell speech to Congress this week, asked 32 thought-provoking questions addressed to his fellow Americans.

It's very clear upon examination of these questions that something is very wrong with our government. �Below are his questions:

Why are sick people who use medical marijuana put in prison?
Why does the federal government restrict the drinking of raw milk?
Why can’t Americans manufacturer rope and other products from hemp?
Why are Americans not allowed to use gold and silver as legal tender as mandated by the Constitution?
Why is Germany concerned enough to consider repatriating their gold held by the FED for her in New York? Is it that the trust in the U.S. and dollar supremacy beginning to wane?

Why do so many accept the deeply flawed principle that government bureaucrats and politicians can protect us from ourselves without totally destroying the principle of liberty?

Why are there not more individuals who seek to intellectually influence others to bring about positive changes than those who seek power to force others to obey their commands?
Why does the use of religion to support a social gospel and preemptive wars, both of which requires authoritarians to use violence, or the threat of violence, go unchallenged? Aggression and forced redistribution of wealth has nothing to do with the teachings of the world great religions.
Why do we allow the government and the Federal Reserve to disseminate false information dealing with both economic and foreign policy?
Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority?
Why should anyone be surprised that Congress has no credibility, since there’s such a disconnect between what politicians say and what they do?
Is there any explanation for all the deception, the unhappiness, the fear of the future, the loss of confidence in our leaders, the distrust, the anger and frustration?

Yes there is, and there’s a way to reverse these attitudes. The negative perceptions are logical and a consequence of bad policies bringing about our problems. Identification of the problems and recognizing the cause allow the proper changes to come easy.

I have lost internet access on Thursday night due to complications at home. I can only get online at library and that would be infrequent. I have received my notary papers within days but not my check, which is now over a month late. I have received mail after April 14th, so I am not sure why my check is lost. *blech*

On the upside, I am getting customized photos done at alarming rate. I have a project almost completed. so the next time I get online there would be a lot of photos uploaded at once.
