Where did we all go? Did we really decide that the imaginary meeting of friends on the internet was better than real life? Do we really think the digital interaction is better then the real life interaction?

Somewhere, some how a lot of us disappeared from society, some maybe by choice others maybe by accident but it happened.

Remember when we actually went places or did things outside ours homes, simple things - went to a friends house for a bbq, met friends out for a drink (which in all fairness normally turned into a few), physically went to look for a boyfriend, girlfriend, went to actual buildings and spoke to people about employment opportunities.. Now with exceptions this seems to be all but gone.

Back as a teen I remember reports of how the Tv was turning us all into braindead zombies,( oddly enough these reports were usually on TV) don't hear to much of that anymore, not with the invent of the internet. wonder why we don't hear that about the internet? lets be honest most of us use the internet and its vast wealth of knowledge more as a playground than a tool.

The CELLPHONE! woohoo that was great invention, enabeling us to be able to remain in contact with the world at all times ( where service was available ) Which for the most part was a novel idea until ------- texting... Ever notice how hard it is to NOT answer a text. i find it rather easy to not answer an actual call. Oh how much time do we waste on senseless text.. lol omg rotfl.. yeah had to.. with the cellphone now we have gps tracking.. oh look we can see where our kids are at any givin time.

Believe it or not the internet has become the largest resourse for privacy invasion... Look up Google's new patent applications.

if you use Firefox look up an add-on called "ghostery" neat lil program that supposedly blocks all kinds of tracking and data mining from websites, if nothing else it shows how many different people are watching and analyzing what you do on a day to day basis. Use G-mail? watch the advertisements change as you receive new E-mails.. Privacy? I thinks not... used to be the only things we had to worry about was a friend spilling the beans about one of our dumb mistakes.

Okay back to the social side of this, seriously how is this better? I'm not saying the digital stuff doesn't have its uses but come on now over 75 million people playing Farmville on facebook for hours at a time?

Wow, as i sit here typing, an E-mail from my google enabled phone " from google+ 5 people you may know" DO I NOT SPEND ENOUGH TIME ON THE INTERNET? UGG okay back to your previously scheduled blog -

Oh facebook ___ to be able to connect with old friends you lost touch with over the years.. guess what i apparently didnt like them enough to keep in touch with them in the first place, my current friends/ well hell I know where they live, plus.. i have their e-mail, work cell, personal cell significant other work and personal cell and also theirs kids cells along with most of their e-mails -- so I deleted facebook..

Well anyway I could ramble on about this stuff for hours but I'm not going to.. Probably not going to come by and rate your page and or like you, why? because I think i will go and change a little bit of my world. does'nt mean I am going to discontinue the use of this site ir the internet I just really believe its time for myself and everyone else to get back out into the world. go meet your neighbor, you know you don't all of them.. Call your friends and get a cookout lined up.. hell get a taxi or a D.D. and go get wasted and dance you ass off, something, anything....

writing about life? nope, more just about odd things i know or odd questions i may have, like why is a bottle of soda cheaper then a bottle of water?

tid bit of info for ya - if you buy a new washer and set it up yourself, Remove the shipping bolts! you be amazed at how many people don't..

hinges on your door coming loose? slide a little sliver of wood into the screw holes and reinstall the screws waalaaa.

computer acting stupid on start up? try replacing the internal battery before anything else ( yes they really do have one ) its like a big watch battery

why did they stop making universal remotes with the new tv's ? and why can't all remotes use the same size batteries?

okay, so do people think Mcdonalds hamburgers really taste good? i cant possibly understand how anybody could but hey to each their own.

if you're going to buy a new dishwasher, measure the opening from top to bottom, can make a big difference on what you can buy.. btw i used to install built-in appliances before i tore up my shoulder.. that's a whole nother story or rant if you will, for another time

if you have any questions about installation of the before mentioned, ask away..

sense this is my first attempt at writing anything of this sort, I'll cut it short so not to confuse anyone with any other random ramblings.... thanks for reading :)
