When I say I love you, it means I love myself enough to let that feeling become a reality once again in my life.

It's not to be measured against those words from anyone else, for they are not the same. Caring about someone so much that it enhances ones care for themselves is something not too often felt.

If you have ever been around a person who makes you feel like a better person just by being in their company, you know what I'm talking about. When someone can brighten your day by doing something so little as saying hello to you with a smile that comes from a deeper place than the muscle reaction to raise their lips over their teeth.

Caring about someone enough to not care about them for ANY of your own selfish reasons. Not basing your advice to someone by factoring in what you want. Being there for someone even if they aren't there for you in return and still answering the phone once you realize it. Being man enough to admit to them when you're wrong, when you're jealous or afraid.

Dealing with someone's inner demons as if they were your own. Sitting with them as they sleep and not thinking about doing anything else as to not wake them up. Looking at the best in someone despite the dark outer appearance. Looking past the bullshit stereotypes passed forth from others onto this person as well as the ones you passed onto them yourself.

Taking the fear out of the equation not asking "WHAT IF" and just do. Not waiting for the common conversation to take over where all you can do is wait till it's your turn to talk, about yourself none the less.� LOVING SOMEONE WITH RECKLESS ABANDON.� Caring from somewhere you forgot you had because you sealed walls so tight that not even in your own mind were you aware existed anymore.� Hearing the words take me to the beach and parting with anything you thought you held dear to get there. Seeing a smile through the cracks of falsehood most people front. A real smile one that starts with the lips and ends with your heart smiling back at them.

Some day. We should all feel like this, maybe not forever, maybe not toward someone of the opposite sex. Maybe a child maybe a friend. Regardless we should ALL feel this way at least once in our adult lives so that we can take those times, those feelings of inner emotional bliss and walk away with them before something else comes along and steals the color from them.

This was written MONTHS AGO--------------For the first time in a LONG time I feel like this country has a decent chance at being successful and proud once again. I don't mean proud to hang a flag in our front yard because our neighbors did it. I mean proud to sit in a room and tell people from other nations that you are from the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. like it love it hate it whatever, truth is for the last 8 years this country has had a man who DESTROYED more forest than the 3 presidents before him set aside. He ran more than one oil company into the ground, he ran the Texas Rangers into the ground and he ran this country into the ground. To all the pissed off rednecks- Who the fuck are you to sit and blast someone for WANTING change. for promoting GROWTH. Please do not mistake my anger for misunderstanding or un-education. I know what you stand for, I know what you believe in and good for you for thinking gay is a choice carrying guns is a necessity . What does it mean to be a MAN? I don't think anyone in my generation REALLY knows. Seeing as how we have had our manhood stripped from us by our mothers at a VERY early age. Our mothers sisters wives girlfriends have ALL stripped small parts of our manhood away. It starts when you're young and your mom delegates when and where you are allowed to apply your man attitudes and actions. She tells you at 14 that you cant watch porn because ? WHY Obviously if you're 14 and you have porn you have a basic idea what the fuck its there for. Then again at 15 and 16 when you get into fights at school.
