A little advice perhaps...

Didn't really want to mumm this, so a quick question to anyone who'll pay attention to this.

�

The woman who asked me out for a drink at work, we work in completely different buildings and pretty much never see each other during the course of the day.

�

Now, she asked me not to tell anyone at work anything, which of course I didn't, even though I really really wanted to, so talking to her with other people around is a no no.

�

So I'm thinking, on my way in tomorrow, I go past her office to get to the building where I work all day, if she's free, should I stop in and ask if she wants my number?

The first few weeks

So work's going good so far. Coming up to the end of the third week now and don't think I'm annoying anyone yet.

�

Seem to have a good rapport with my boss, plus I'm learning all the time and remembering shit I knew already, so I don't think he regrets hiring me...yet. Already dislike 1 of the teachers but generally speaking I get along with everybody else in the faculty and they don't mind coming to me for help, whether I can help or not.

�

The kids aren't bothering me too much, which is a bonus. Other than calling me Ed Sheeran for a week :|

�

Usually go for a drink or two with a few staff and teachers every Friday so gradually getting a possible friend or two in the process, which is good for my lack of socialising skills. Kind of in with the school football team too which is nice as far as socialising and a nice bit of exercise goes.

�

Other than that, really looking forward to moving in to my own place next month. Cannot wait to have my own "bed", tv, a shower, kitchen. Gonna be wonderful.

So, got to weigh myself today for the first time in a good few months. Weighed in at 12stone, or 168lbs for you lot. I am very surprised, and happy as that's a big drop from 17.5stone (245lbs).

Not done one of these for a while so just a quick update.

�

Still sleeping on a sofa, still looking for a proper job.Got a tax refund, thought I had a job, things were looking up, but not completely for long. Have to actually apply for the job now rather than it being a sure thing, though I still may get lucky.

�

Trying not to spend that money so I can use it to pay a deposit on a flat or flat share of my own in the near future once I get some regular income coming.�

�

Looking forward to the olympics, should still be stewarding there as long as I'm processed by the employers on time.

�

Have a new Samsung Galaxy mini, what I'm using to get online.

�

Other than that, things are kinda dull. At least I have a vague internet connection to stave off a little boredom now.

Happenings and goings on

Bored and getting up early but don't really want to sleep yet.

�

Off to hopefully get help rehousing myself in the morning, as I now have to leave where I am before this coming sunday. Trying to think positive but it's not always easy.

It's kind of my fault in a way. As much as I don't generally like the two people I've been living with, I'd gotten a bit comfartable and neglected trying to maybe get this sorted out sooner. Though who knows, maybe the urgency will now work in my favour.

And living around these guys, I have to wonder if most families gossip about each other as they do. These two are always bitching about his twin sister and vice versa. I'm a little guilty too, but living with them can be a serious chore sometimes.

Eh, enough from me. Nothing else to really say anyway I suppose.

Helping Hands

I find myself in a bit of a jam and needing some help. If you would be so obliged in at least reading this I would be thankful.�

I am trying to get work as a security guard, but they require a comprehensive 5 year history for background check purposes.

Here's where my problem arises. Due to my prolonged stay in the good ole US of A there is a big gap in my history that they will not check for me. As such, I need to somehow provide this for them.

I emailed the US embassy and they gave me two options:

Either go through some rigmarole with the FBI involving fingerprints, money and a great deal of waiting

Contact the local police where I last resided and get a criminal check done by them and get a document of their findings.

So either way, I have problems. The FBI is pretty much a no go, and being back in the UK I won't be phoning Bradenton police any time soon.

Wherein lies my need for advice and any help you kind people that put up with me may be able to give.

Not entirely sure how to make this not sound wrong so...

I kinda find myself touching myself a lot lately at night (yeah yeah yeah, like I said)

�

What I mean is though, other areas. Like my hips, I can actually feel the bones now. And my collar bones, I find myself kind of hooking my fingers in to them. I can't really seem to help it.

�

I kinda have a feeling why I'm subconsciously doing it, but it still feels really strange when I realise I'm doing it.

So, this job I applied for, they seem to be desperate to get as many employees as possible. They actually gave everyone the answers to the BASIC literacy and numeracy tests so that no one would fail.

�

Thing is, I see this backfiring. A few people there were so slow filling in the forms WITH the answers provided, that I'd be very surprised if they manage to even pass the courses the company has enrolled us for.

�

Plus some of the people turning up were so unproffesional. I was one of two people in a shirt and tie. People were turning up in all types of raggedy looking shit and jeans around their ankles.�No wonder they can't find a job.
