I am going to attend and speak at a workshop for at-risk (crime/drugs) teenagers, just to try to get them on the right track in life. Lets face it, the more kids I can get to do the right thing,one less person to worry about on the streets.
I want to have maximum verbal impact on the first day to get their attention. Should I go in, and push a little fear/scare in their heads, or should I talk to them calmly and respectful in a heart-to-heart, hopefully reaching their common sense.
A). Scare tactics for the hard-headed
B). Appeal to common sense approach
