First off I want to let every staff member know a few things about me.I have run four of the top lounges that has ever been on Fubar and I know what it takes to have a top lounge. When I say something .. know its nothing against you.. its what is best for the lounge! I am super nice and I rarely lose my temper.. Don't do anything that will cause that .. cause you won't like it I promise! What I say GOES.. I have the final say on all issues PERIOD! All staff have their job.. if a manager ask you to do something or not do something.. listen to them.. its nothing personal.. its for the better of the lounge! Managers should be doing their job while still being NICE!! If that is not happening anyone can screenshot the conversation and bring it directly to me! We are all equal.. we just have different jobs in the lounge in order to make the lounge great! What makes a great lounge? A place can come and chat, view sexy flirty people on cam, listen to good music and get away from their normal daily life.. we give them that.. and people will come .. and STAY!
1.The most important rule and if followed will cover all the other rules! Never join in on drama that starts in the lounge by anyone including other staff members! If staff.. find a manager and/or boatman and let them know what is going on. If its a member or vistor ... silence them and go to their shoutbox and try to calm them down ..NICELY!!! If they agree unsilence them and continue on with lounge chat! The best staff are the ones that can handle issues and the rest of the lounge not even see that there was a problem. But always be NICE... if they call your mom a whore... be NICE.. if they dont seem to want to calm down and want continue drama in the lounge... ban them but be NICE! Get the picture? Always be NICE when dealing with issues.. 90% of the time it solves the problem!
2.When dealing with issues of any kind ..screen shot shoutbox conversation and send to a manager. If its in the lounge.. delete the drama statements including what you or other staff say to try and calm the drama.. which should be minimal cause it should be in shoutbox. VERY IMPORTANT.. wait until the statements have run off the screen before deleting.. deleting peoples comments always causes more drama.. remember the purpose of your job is to keep the lounge drama free.. that is it.. not to regulate what peoples opinions are or the subject unless those are causing drama.. drama is not something that you disagree with.. its something that you see is going to cause a uproar! Keep your personal feeling out of it!!!!
3.Another important reason you are staff is that you care about the well being of the lounge and you are there to promote it.. one way that is not promoting it is to ask in the lounge for someone to go to skype cam or any other pvt cam. If you want to do so .. ask them in shoutbox .. DO NOT ANNOUNCE your on cam somewhere else or your password or any other info .. ex. skype.. this is the lounge.. your staff to keep people there chatting and having fun!!
4.NEVER call another staff member down in the lounge.. ask them to Shoutbox.. and deal with it there.. again screenshot the conversation so that if there is further issue management can see what went on! THIS GOES FOR ALL STAFF MEMBERS!!!!
5.Always be positive in the lounge.. if someone comes in having a bad day.. try and cheer them up by giving them a break from their problems.. if you are having a bad day and can't keep from bringing it into the lounge .. stay out of the lounge.. its ok to mention it.. but not to start the entire conversation in the lounge to be about your problems.. people are there to chat and have a GOOD time and get away from their life problems!
6.Repost the dj bully and never downgrade the dj.. if you dont like the music.. cut it off until they play something you like!!!
7. Always be NICE to everyone.. even if you hate them.. in the lounge be NICE!
8.This lounge is about family .. we are all equal staff.. but remember .. if I have to I will show you who the owner is!!! Staff is not staff to cause or contribute to drama.. if it comes to you causing more drama than you helping.. I will boot your from staff.. not ban .. but remove you from staff.. you will not be banned unless you cause a issue after being removed! If you can't follow these rules.. let me know so I can remove you from staff or if you are requesting to be staff.. Dont if you cant follow my rules!
