Hell yea I like music, I been a musician all of my life, I was 4 (no lie) when I started playing piano, played in 4th grade talent show (sounds gay but it was cool at the time) Started guitar at 12, played my first paying gig at 15 (yea whoo poison and motley crue). When I hit my early 20's I put down the guitar and started playing keyboard on stage with country bands (I know kind of corny, play rock then go to country, but it paid better).

I never was a big fan of country but always a stickler on getting the song to sound as much like the (at the time) tape. In doing so I got tired of hearing “Much to Young”, Amarillo by Morning” and other fiddle songs played by the lead guitar on guitar, so I learned how to play fiddle by one of the most prestigious fiddle players in our time, Johnny Gimble, the man who played Amarillo by morning for George Strait . By 24 I was touring with a lot of big local Texas names and started playing harmonica and percussion also.

At 29 I started to get a big desire to play the drums so I started working with a local guy that taught me the swing style, “Dave Weckel” enthusiast. I played a few gigs and did some studio stuff on the drums but never paid out like the keyboard and fiddle so I went back. When I was 33 I started in a band that consisted of seven of the best musicians I have ever spent so much time playing with. My entire on stage rig consisted of three keyboards, foot controllers for the keyboards, five string fiddle, acoustic guitar 6 and twelve string, mandolin, harmonicas, bongo’s, congas, timbale’s, oh and my last discovery, Banjo…

As a musician I have played a lot of venues without claim to any fame other than my own personal success. As a single father as of three years ago I have found my new success, without hesitation I put away all my keyboards, fiddles, harmonicas, and drums to play Rockband with my son just about every night after dinner and homework.
