MY BUCKET LIST

MY BUCKET LIST LIVING EACH DAY LIKE IT'S MY LAST CAN'T CHANGE THE FUTURE, CAN'T UNDO THE PAST. LIFE IS LIKE A RACE, I'M NOT TRYING TO WIN IT. I'M JUST THANKFUL TO BE IN IT. THERE'S PAINFUL LESSONS IN LIFE TO BE LEARNED. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS THEM, EVERYONE GETS A TURN. I'M NOT GOING TO WHINE ABOUT THE DAYS FILLED WITH SHOWERS. I'M JUST THANKFUL, THEY TURN THE SEED INTO FLOWERS. I HEARD ONE TIME, NOT EVERYONE REALLY LIVES BUT, EVERYONE DIES. THIS CONCEPT REALLY OPENED UP MY EYES. SO MANY YEARS, WITHOUT EVEN TRYING, INSTEAD OF LIVING, I WAS TOO BUSY DYING. SO, I TOOK OUT A PEN AND PAPER AND I MADE A BUCKET LIST. I WROTE DOWN ALL THE THINGS I'D DONE AND ALL I'D MISSED. I'M GOING TO FORGET ABOUT ANY POSSIBLE DANGER. NEVER AGAIN WILL I DRIVE OFF AND NOT HELP A STRANGER. MAKES ME REALIZE, ON THE DAYS THAT, I'M REALLY HURTIN. THERE'S SOMEONE OUT THERE WORSE OFF THEN ME, I'M CERTAIN. THE OLDER I GET, THE MORE SOME THINGS BECOME CLEAR. TO SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT, I NOW HAVE FAITH INSTEAD OF FEAR. EVERY DAY NOW, AS LONG AS I AM ABLE I REMEMBER TO GIVE THANKS AT THE SUPPER TABLE. I'M GOING TO TRY AND BE MORE GENTLE AND KIND, WHAT WOULD IT HURT? IT'LL ALL BE TOO LATE WHEN, I'M COVERED IN DIRT. I'm a movie buff Went to see the movie The Bucket List last Sunday Everyone should see this movie We only get so many trips around the sun. That's why, it's so important to find the joy in our lives. What really matters in life. I sometimes forget to write down all the things that, I'm grateful in life. The important thing in life is to live it without regrets. We learn from our mistakes and we go on in life. Laugh so hard until you cry Smile at everyone you meet Help a stranger whenever you can Never pass up the chance to hug a small child Never pass up the time to spend with parents grand parents and your kids. Never forget to tell people that you love them and what they mean to you. Last but not least forgive, forgive and forgive.

Seasons

As the summer has turned into fall Overhead, is heard the Canadian geese call. The air turns cooler from the Autumn breeze It, won't take long until the Winter freeze. No longer, will I look back and see The beautiful colored leaves falling from the trees. If I'm real quiet, I can hear the sound. Of beautiful colored leaves, falling to the ground. The cool air blowing off the lake Chills my bones and my body aches The Fall brings out a sense of dying upon the Earth As the season turns into winter, I wait for springs new birth. thru out the Earth I’ll turn on the news and I don’t like what I see All the bad world events really bother me. The news that they’re trying to sell, Makes me think, we’re on a high way to hell There’re evil men all filled with greed. All the money, can’t be taken with you so take heed! Earthquakes, famines and floods, Another dead soldier all covered in blood Sad to think, news always has a bleed it leads. There has to be someone out there someone doing good deeds. Do we live in a world of such despair? I know there are people out there that still care! When, things are at there worst, we seem to be at our best. I often wonder if, we’re being put thru a test. But, oh how it makes the heart ache. The innocent lives man and nature takes. This Earth could be utopia an more. Instead, all thru history, we’ve had wars. Why does man have to be filled with hate? Time Well Spent

Sat. morning, I got a call. Can I come visit grand pa When, he comes to visit me He asks questions about everything he sees. We spent the morning out by the pool I had to add water to make it cool. While, I'm not watching, he sprays me with the garden hose He soaked me wet from my head to toes He's laughing at getting me wet. Even if, he makes me mad, I'll soon forget He standing next to my thighs Often times I wish, I could see thru his eyes The time we spend together, everywhere, we go and every where we've went. The time we spend together is time well spent. I hug him as he sits upon my lap Slowy, his eyes close as he begins his nap. Someday, long after he's long grown, I hope, he share this love with, children of his own.
