Yes it should, but the laws of DUI would apply just as harsh. If the government legalized it, They would tax it. And make a fortune. The same way they sell cigarettes and booze. If it was legal more people would do it. Because drug tests would not consider it. Now folks I know what your saying...Just Another Stoned Pothead. Well maybe your right. But let me ask you this, Which kind of an employee would you like to have? Employee "A" A man who is on his anniversary and is enjoying an Oceanfront balcony room on the tenth floor and helps relax the mood with an anniversary joint. Subject A comes to work three weeks later still thinking of the night and is handed a cup, When he walks in the door. He's cool thinking it was one time three weeks ago. And he tests possitive. This guy has made a shitload of money for you and turned your company around. OR Employee B. The guy that goes home every night with a Sparkletts jug of booze EVERY NIGHT including Sunday. And always has some kind of stomach thing. ALOT of mornings, The Doctors aren't sure what it is. He gets away with it. So ask me should it be.? Yes If not outlaw booze. Never heard of someone dying from an overdose of Marijuana. or smoking a blunt and shooting up a school. I don't know about you but if I'm high all I look for is the Spoon, milk and Frosted Flakes. And maybe some good movies and playing some PS 3 with my kids. So what is worse driving a car home from a bar, down that two lane road and you see four coming towards you. OR Sitting in the backyard with some friends from accross the street, grilling some steaks having a laugh and passing around something god put on this earth. So why did God and Mother Nature grow it I ask you this?

So I sit here tonight ten minutes before the Bronco's Pre Season Kick off and think of my day. Have you ever had a boss, (Yes that's person over you) screw something up so bad that his boss calls you directly and asks you to take over these projects. This college kid they hired to be my boss, Came out of high school, Went to college and took his degree to the procurement off ice paying bills. This in my bosses eyes qualified him to Run a Mechanical Department. But everytime the shit hits the fan his higher ups call me direct and leave him in the dark until I brief him. I am thinking I should ask for a raise. ............................................. NFL Football Is upon us. Let it be known I have two favorite teams, The Broncos and The Chargers. Two teams same division. I like to cover my bets. Last night I saw The Chargers come out with a GREAT first string Drive. And a great effort from the back up ranks. I disagree with the replacement of Schottenheimer with Turner. How do you take a coach of a team that just gave you a 14 and 2 Season and replace him with a Pipe Dream. I have the greatest hopes for my Chargers. As for the Broncos, Just as equally disappointed in the Schottenheimer deal. I am equally disturbed with the Plummer / Cutler deal. Not to take anything away from a great kid like Cutler but he should been made to serve as a backup for Plummer for a year or two.

Never had blog before, so I figured why the hell not. Sometimes things that maybe you really don't want to burden your family with or bore them you just want to vent about, work related things or maybe even politics. So why not a blog even if no one even reads it. At you can throw it out and hope that someone out there shares your interest. On different things. I walked into a store today and the person behind the counter did not even acknowledge me. Not even a glance.I was getting a soda at the machine. When I heard the door alarm go off. Three teen age kids walked in and took a right I had my soda and was looking at the chips and noticed once again when the kids entered the clerk once again did not even look to see the teens walk in. And then I noticed the kids seeing this too and looking to each other and smiling. Right then and there I knew it was one thing. A Beer Run. I sat laughng to myself. This is going interesting. The Teens by this time had already been to the cooler got a twelve pack each and was heading for the door at a slow pace even. I walked to the counter and place my things on the counter. The teens were making thier way down the final aisle. And still the clerk had not looked up. I was rolling on the inside I was almost rooting for the thirsty teens because of this clerks incompetence. Finally after the clerk begins to stir and turn his attention to me. And the rest of his store. He figures the article in the magazine was to important to break visual contact. The guy grabs the scanner runs it over the soda and the chip by merely glancing out the corner of his eyes. And tells me the price. But still yet has not acknowledged me. I stood there hold a 5 dollar bill at half arm lenth. He was reading the article I was looking at the kids running out the door with a smile on my face. And a thumbs up. The guy finally sets the magazine down takes my five and gives me my change. Nearly thirty dollars in product walked out his door and never even saw the kids come in or leave...That was the highlight of my day.
