I made my mom cry...

(Crysta's words exactly...not a paraphrase or a third party wording) One day a few years back. I was not having such a good day. I wanted to do something. I don't remember what, but that is not the important part of this experience. I got angry at her because she wouldn't let me have my way. I took all of my anger out on her, because I knew she would always be there in the end. I for 3 hours straight told her how horrible she was, how I hated her and wished that I was born in a different family. I even told her I wished that she was dead. She just sat there, she didn't cry. She didn't yell. She didn't get angry. She just let me go at her and keep going until finally I stopped. I thought she was going to yell back, or tell me I was grounded or cry or something. But what she did instead was the most amazing thing any oarent could ever do. She just looked at me and simply said "Crysta I Love You" I broke down and started to cry... I was never expecting her to say that. I was expecting to get into trouble and then later tell me what all parents tell there kids. I do this because I love you. But those are just words that parents say to make you feel better and more yet make themselves feel better. She totally showed me that she loved me by saying that. I felt so bad, because even though I had hurt her terribly she still loved me and showed it by only saying she loved me and nothing else. I will never forget that day as long as I live, and I have never done that to my mom again.

When I was 5 I....

( this is in Crysta's words...no paraphrasing or third party talking is being done.) When I was 5 and in kinderguarden I had a little experience. I was sitting in class as I did everyday. My mom was there as she always was. She worked in my class helping out and all. I totally loved that. I got to see her all the time. My teacher Miss Frank was talking on the phone(her celli) to someone she new, her voice kept getting louder and louder. She was pssied at someone. But then she did something no teacher or adult should ever do, but if you are going to do it don't do it in front of kids... She cussed at someone over the phone. She said F**K you and bull S**t. I went straight up to her tugged on her skirt to get her attention. She said hold on to the person on the phone, "i'll have to call you back". She asked me what I needed. I said" Miss Frank what you just did was inappropriate, inexcusable behavior that should seise to ever happen again." She simply said to me " Crysta you don't even know what those words mean." That is when I said to her the definition of what every word ment. My mom standing proudly at the other end of the room so proud of me. My teach just stood there is shock and awww and she never used those words again, at least not where I would know she had done it anyways. I like that experience, because it shows no maatter how young you are, your thoughts and oppinions matter. And no matter how old you are you can always learn something and you are never to old to make mistakes and learn something from them.

Elmer's Glue

(this is in Crysta's word exactly...no paraphrasing or third person talking.) One day I was in the car with my sister Lakoda and her friend Suzanna called. When she called we pretended we were in a car business. So we made up names for ourselves and Lakoda had just put Elmer's Glue on her hands...so she named herself Elmer. Lakoda had just drawn me a pic of Tigger. So I called myself Tigger. Suzanna hunng up. The next time she called back we told her it was a prank. So she said she wanted to name the car comppany. Suzanna named it Mitsubishi Then I thought of something totally fantastic. Instead of having a car company named Mitsubishi we said it should be a brand of chewing gum from Tokyo. Then we took a pack of Orbits gum. We took it out of the wrapper and flipped it inside out. On the side we flipped inside out, we wrote mitsubishi gum. Me and Lakoda dressed up like Japanese girls then we sold the gum for $10. That was a really funny moment.

Crysta's Intro...

Crysta is my daughter.. These blogs will be here thoughts and experiences. I am proud of my daughter and love everything that she tells me. I am going to share with all of you what she says is okay to share with you. She likes people to see her unique style and way of thinking, and how much fun she has in life so others may learn how to have fun from her experiences. She is 11 almost 12 years old, she is bright, intellegent, cunning, adventurous, spontanious, and enjoys everything life has to offer. She loves to teach people how to see the small things most people miss. She says it slows the fast goers down just enough that they may have the opportunity to have a little bit of fu at least once in there life. Don't let her age fool you, she is wise beyond her years and she is actually more thoughhtful than most adults can ever dream to be. She has more gumption in one pinky that most people have in there whole being, and she knows when to say something and when it is inapropriate to say something, and chooses her words wisely always. She never hurts people intentionally or unintentionally, because before she speaks or does she puts herself in the others shoes and figures out what her reaction would be and depicts what she does off of those feelings. The blogs are in her words and her thoughts. I will not pariphrase anything she says. Hope you enjoy...
