ok so i got some grief from my last couple mumm's and so i decided to put up something that i feel strongly about to see what you guys think. forgive the last two plz... im still a little new to ct.
ok. i work for a private school and at one of our sister schools, one of the children said a "bad" word. (im not sure what the word was) but that childs teacher washed his mouth out with soap. now when i was a child, i remember a similar situation happening to me, but it was my mother who put soap on my toothbrush not a teacher.
if this were to happen to my child i would be upset. needless to say the teacher no longer works for the school. but.... im curious. what do yall think. are people going a little over board with their "thoughts" on child abuse or would you consider a little non-toxic soap abuse? |
