Sometimes I wonder... If all people spoke to each other with respect, (regardless of sex, race, or personal orientation) would the world be a better place? The obvious answer is... YES! But unfortunately, in the real world, there are too many people that live their lives every day thriving on conflict, turmoil, gossip, and random acts of meanness. Why has the human race turned against itself? We're all people! If you grew up rich, does that really make you a better person than someone who didn't? If you are extremely good looking, does that really make you a better person than the not so genetically fortunate? We as a society have become bombarded by television, magazines, and the like, as to what a person SHOULD be, and how a person SHOULD act. What ever happened to just having morals? If a random stranger holds the door open for you at an entrance to anywhere, say "Thank you." And the next time you see a sweet old couple entering a restaurant, take a step back, and hold the door for them. (You might not know them, but they have probally somewhere along the way in their lifetimes, earned that respect.)And as Forest Gump put it so eliquiontly... That's all I have to say about that!
