Saturday we took our daughter to the LA Zoo and we got a year pass since it only makes sense for us to have one... My daughter had a blast. She would say "Wow!!!" to almost every animal she saw, followed by "Mama!!!" and point at whatever animal we were looking at hehe. We walked the entire zoo, but some of the animals had been taken out... like the meerkats, because they where introducing a new member. Since we have a years membership, we will be able to go to member days when they zoo is less busy. That'll be fun. LA Zoo is also building a bunch of new areas between now and 2010. Observing is my thing. I love it. And I love when I get to LA Zoo that there are other college students who -some, not all- are getting into the same field(s) as me and have the passion I do. When I was taking photos of the Ring-Tailed Lemurs, I happened to just focus on one of them and she knew it. She was so social with me. It was just an awesome experience to be that close and to have that primate, one in which I love so much, to come near me like that. That just vaildated to me that I need to go into primatology, even if it's not my main speicality area. ...I know, I probably sound insane lol. Sunday we took her to the pet stores. We decided that since I'm highly allergic to dogs and kind of allergic to cats & birds, that we'd opt to buy a Leopard Gecko. We will be getting it's home set up sometime this week, than the gecko & cricket set up next payday. My daughter loves them. She was telling my husband today "Up! Up!" so he'd pick her up so she could see the little guys.

Put my dirtbike up for sale today. After it goes, I will turn around and get another one hopefully very soon. Got picked up by Osiris Shoes and Vortex. Classes are going well. Things are finally starting to look up for me. That's amazing!

Guess it's been a few days since I last wrote in here... Dropped one of my classes, not biology, but another class. I'm dealing with a lot right now and that teacher just pissed me off, so I dropped the class. My bike is going up for sale this week, once I can force myself to do it. I will then turn around and buy either an RM85 or KX85. I need a better bike. Hoping I can buy my daughter a 50 also if I have any cash left over. Plus gear. Picked up 2 more sponsors... MotoCandy and Vortex! Other than that, just typical life stuff going on I suppose.

I'm waiting to hear back from Chaparral in the morning in hopes they will work with me so I can trade in my bike for a motocross bike. *Crosses fingers* Hopefully it works out. If not, then I have to wait a little bit, then go back. So, we'll see.

My daughter just broke my glasses, now I cant see far away. Grrr. She didnt mean to though. Now, I have to wait until my husband gets home and just hope that Wal-Mart's glasses area is open when we go so they can fix them.

I cant wait to go to Chaparral this weekend. I need to ask them several questions. I plan to get a quad here soon after we buy a truck, plus I'm thinking about trading in my bike, so I need to see what all could be done, etc. I also want to see if I can find someone to ask about sponsorship. Never hurts to ask. I could use the discounts. So, Saturday we are going riding with my cousins, then off to Chaparral!

Well, I'm pretty much finished with my midterm for Linguistic Anthro. I just have to do in-text citations and the citation page, plus maybe a cover page. Then spell check and print it out! Hopefully I get a good grade on it.

I've been working out every night. My body is screaming in pain at me, but it'll all be worth it. I can feel the pain in my arms and legs the most. I need to work on my mid-section. Weather is crappy right now. Hopefully by Saturday it's better. I want to go riding!

I feel a lot better tonight then I did early this morning. My arm has been itching all day where I was given the allergy test though. So, that sucks. I've been working on my midterm for linguitic anthro most of the day. I have one and a half pages done. Two and a half to go. I'm writing on how language is a social capital and stories of children who were isolated, then later found, and how that effected their speech. Spring Break and I have homework. Loverly. Anthro isnt the problem. I have Math homework too. Yuck.
