I am both sadden and ESTATIC to announce the death of "wanna be thugs & bad boys". After more than a decade of being the trendsetters for most American males in areas such as fashion, music, hairstyles, and just overall stupidity, I am proud to say that TODAY marks the end of their reign on society. I am reclaiming the male portion of society on behalf of all the GOOD men out there who work hard, are educated, are positive role models, that respect and love women, that open doors for women, that CAN BE honest and faithful, DON'T dress like a slob, and that can hold their own in a conversation about something other than themselves.
At some point in the mid-1990s (after high school), it became acceptable for men to NOT be the best people that we can be. Even sadder is the fact that the scummier men became, the more "attractive" they became to TONS of women. From this day forward, if you know a woman that thinks, or hear a woman that says that she "loves a guy in sweatpants and Tims, or a over-sized white t-shirt, a jersey and the newest Jordans", by all means, please ask her if that she want to be a slob too?! If you ARE one of those women and you're reading this the question where did the respect for the female slip away? Are you downgrading yourself too? Do you want to look a slob? Because the person you are with can rub off on you when you don't even know it leaving you as they are. Just so we're clear, let me further explain this.... somewhere along the line, the idea of a guy wearing a nice shirt, nice pants, and nice shoes became a black t-shirt with the face of either Tweety-Bird or other drug related image on it, Sean John jeans, and some clean Air Force Ones. Sound familiar?
Somewhere along the line, the idea of a guy taking a girl out on a date became the girl picks up the guy from his momma's house because he has no car and still lives with his mother, RENT FREE! I would LOVE for any women reading this to explain to me WHY this became acceptable? I'm not even going to get into the dudes with grillz, fake ass platinum/diamond chains, or those who's rims on their car cost more than their actual car and still live with their parents!
I think the stupidity in each of those cases is EXTREMELY crystal clear. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a snob here, but I just believe in a thing called standards, and for the most part, ours have been lowered over the last decade. Ladies, if a guy already has two other baby mamma's, and he's not taking care of either of those kids, what in the world makes you think that he's worth a flip just because he's interested in you? Love or no love, that's just ignorance.
To the skuzzy guys, it's time to start keeping it in your pants a little more, or AT LEAST be monogamous, and start thinking about your futures. Sadly, life isn't all about money, women, cars, and getting high or drunk. If you think it is, then you're as dumb as a bag of rocks. So let it be known that today, January 23, 2007, the remaining GOOD MEN of the world are reclaiming control of the male portion of society, and are declaring our independence from the many negative, typical male stereotypes that are usually placed upon us. Ladies, we encourage you to join us, otherwise you will be left with this...
Please take a pledge to make a difference in the world. I am one and few, and I know there are others that feel the same way.

This is a hard thing to go by. I have to re-read this again and again. I pray that we can practice this on a daily basis....Lord help us! Guys hope you are doing better than me.... For those I am sorry! That is why we are human, and learn to know the difference. Difference is what it makes out of you now. Equipping you to be a much stronger and wiser individual. I am back on the path... after I re-read it again.
