MASON CITY Speeding motorists have kept law enforcement officers busy during the holiday weekend.
Logs from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriffs Department show 17 drivers received speeding tickets between 5 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
In addition, two other motorists received verbal warnings for exceeding the speed limit.
