3am and once again I'm not sleeping. I am not a happy camper. I have to be up in 2 hours. Sucky. So what's new since my last posting...let's see... Saturday my husky ruptured an anal gland...very unpleasant for her and for me. Also unpleasant for the bank account...200 bucks to have her seen at the emergency vet to find out why she was bleeding from her rear end. Plus she's on antibiotics for the next 3 weeks, 45 bucks a week. Lovely. I used to do skip tracing, or tracking people down, for a repossession company or two back in my day...a couple of weeks ago I put my skills to good use and found my step son's girlfriend's birth father. She hasn't seen him for 16 years. They have had dinner a couple of times and are talking on the phone and getting to know each other. I feel I did a good deed... We put up our tree, and I began wrapping presents...still have a few more to go, but most of it is done. I have a few more things coming in that were won on ebay, too. I think its time for me to continue to toss and turn ... here's hoping I get a little sleep.

Today I got ready for tomorrow night's events. Hubby's work is having their winter ball....basically a Christmas party. An excuse to dress up like you're going to a prom, too. Which is fun for a change. I got a manicure and pedicure today, which is something I normally never do. My son got in trouble twice at school today that resulted in two phone calls home, one referral, and one detention. I am not pleased with him at the moment. I need a night out...tomorrow should be fun. Tonight we made a trip to Edwards and hubby got a cigar..I also got some small cigars called Acid Cigars which smell exactly like Edge City in Five Points...if you've been there, you know the smell I speak of. Not quite incense, but a mix of cloth, leather, and incense...that's a good way to describe it. Still having fun on here-checking out some of the lounges tonight.

I ramble....that's what I do in my blogs. I ramble about the day's or week's events... Sometimes exciting...sometimes downright boring...much like life. I'm liking FUBAR--lots of fun to be had here... Lots of nice people I've met thus far.
