If you use Firebox browser and have either the BR tabs or the shout box audible alerts enabled, every single time you get an audible alert, it locks you up from being able to type in whatever text box you were typing in, and that's across any open tabs you have open too... and if you are on another web site in a tab at the time of the alert, the alert will also still the page focus as well as lock up your being able to type any more text... in order to be able to resume typing text, you must go to the Fubar page and refresh it and then go back to what your were trying to type... and of course it does it all over again the next audible alert you get. I have to keep audible alerts turned off, which means I don't know when someone shouts me and I miss a lot of shouts and I'm sure folks think I'm being rude and ignoring them... so it would be damn nice if you all could figure out why your use of the audible alerts messes up the firefox browser when I have found no other site that does this! ---------------------- This would be nice, I thought I was the only one with this problem. And when you have the pop up shoutbox WINDOW open, when someone messages you, your main window steals focus and again stops you from being able to type. Its pretty aggravating and i would recommend a static DIV with the shoutbox messagez above and a seperate div down below with the typing box where u could switch users to type to. I got a shout the other day from some person who wasn't on my friends list offering me a "naked pic" for a bling pack. I doubt I was the only person she was soliciting , as well as cam whores and other spammers.
