Ten years ago today, my husband and I went on our first date.
It's also ten years since we first slept together.
Don't look at me like that. I'm easy... so? ;c)

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to anyone else looking for a lasting relationship but it did work out well for us.

We still hold hands and make googly eyes at each other, say I love you every fifth sentence, make love at least three times a week. All the things they say should have disappeared by now.
Sure, we have our slow times where maybe we aren't quite so much in love but everything waxes and wanes. In the end, we are very much in love.
And he spoils me rotten like the little princess I am. ;c)

We're coming up on 25 years of marriage.....ack! We had 1 blind date, 1 more date that was kinda so so and the next time we saw each other she came to the barn I was living in and never left again. We've done everything right, we've done everything wrong and we're still together. Everything is great as far as knowing this is forever. Unfortunately our sex life is as exciting and as frequent as waiting for daylight savings to come around again. But....if everything was perfect I'd be Elvis and already dead for 9 years.....good people of either sex are very very very rare...hold on to them when you are lucky enough to find them. Happy Anniversary!
