So along the muddy Mo is the current division line between black and gray squirrels and the red squirrel indigenous to Nebraska. I've read this line has moved westward over the years and is generally separated by a significant water flow or two.
I've literally only ever seen black squirrels in Iowa other than maybe 5 times in my own state. Obviously they stick out like a sore thumb when you have only seen red ones for years on end and I saw one tonight. Originally I thought I'd embellish the truth a tad and say it crossed my path but honesty is required in a decent mumm if you want decent folks opinions. daniel may be an ass at times but he does stand for truth, the flag, the armed forces, guns, and God. (Not necessarily in that order.) In fact; it stood up prarie dog style and watched as I drove by.
Simple mumm. Tell me about your squirrels? I've only seen gray once and I was told that it is the crossbreed of a red and black squirrel but haven't properly googled that so idk. Mostly just bored with buttons for today...lol.
Would you consider crossing paths with the rare black squirrel as a sign of good or bad luck? No luck? *listens fully expecting to hear crickets whilst trying to spitball decent answers for the mumm* |
