Proper car audio power

If you have a system in your car and your headlights dim uncontrollably your system is not grounded properly.

You need to go to AutoZone/O'Riellys/Advance and get 2 40" ground cables, and one 24" ground cable. Both with eyelits stamped on both ends of them.

Undo the battery ground and resecure it with an eyelit on it, find the closest biggest fattest bolt on the body or frame and remove it. We are using the 24" here.

Grind all of the paint off of the location UNDER the BOLT. I am talking shiny happy ground. Secure the ground from the battery here.

NEXT go to the trunk.

Remove the ground from the amp, find where you are grounded now, undo that.

Again find the biggest fattest tastiest ground closest to you, its usually a seatbelt bolt(usually a Torx bit) or seat bolt itself.

Take the bolt off, grind to bare metal. Grind the threads on the bolt, the bottom of the nut holding the seat on, AND the where the bottom of the ground touches the car.

Here is the best part. Use two grounds and splice them to the ground leading your amp. Yes, splice them, and then use elctrical tape. Your HOUSE is connected to the grid this way it will work!

Use one of the 40"s going to one ground bolt and the other for another ground bolt, no more dimming.

Now, if your ground going to your amp is smaller than the grounds you just installed - get a bigger ground. I will post pics shortly to add to this post.

Lawn Mowing Buddies

Ok, so I am sitting anger management(repaying my debt to society) and participating as usual. The idea is they show 18 of us guys a video on saturday mornings about how it is wrong to violate the Golden Rule. Excellent premise. In this video an african American couple are fighting. The fight goes south and and of course the dude gets pissed his wife will not let hime go joy riding in th car. Apparently they cannot afford fixing it every time he attempts to floss his whip. His only retort is his aleady spent tax check. Spent on things to "fix" the car. The ask us at the end of the video "What is he going to spend the money on?" I reply "Spinny hub caps." "Why spinny hub caps?" I reply - "He can't afford spinny rims."(From the looks of the video they are completely broke.) "Who told him to buy spinny rims/hubcaps?" I reply (with NO hesitation)"BET." These comments, though true, did not get a backlash. Everyone laughed and we all got a kick out if. Even the black dude 2 seats from me. But next week.... We whating the same video only this time it is a hispanic couple. Bottom line - dude gets ejected form the house. They ask us - "Where is he going to go?" I reply. "The hispanic community is closely knit, they are family first, so I think he stay with his cousins, or he will go stay with his lawn mowing buddies." Let the floodgates of all potential rascism open. I leave that day after being called a rascist with a new view of anger. Angry that my teachers of this class are telling me that "the truth cannot be said." I told a hispanic girlfriend of mine and she fell over laughing. "We do a lot of yard work, thats for sure." She said. The weird thing is, as a person I meant what I said, they noticed this, and proceeded to call my racism "deeper than I realised...."

A letter to my Beer.

Dear Beer, I have been thinking about you lately, just wanted to let you know I miss your natural blonde head and dark tan body. I miss your taste, and I talk to my friends about you all the time. I saw you on tv the other day, it was so wierd. Anyways, I get off of work early today, when I get home, do you want to slip into my 22oz bottle? I know you fill it so well, your bottle is nice, but that tall glass is so you. And in the bottle its hard to see the carbonation. Maybe we can work on the Jeep together, I will put a dust mask on you while I sand. Oh you want to bring your friends to help? Ok with me! You know, I installed a bottle opener in the garage. Yeah it's bolted to the wall. Well, I gotta get back to work, I will see you soon.
