Hello Everyone
.
I do hope that you are doing well today. I just got this posting off the Internet and would like to share it with you.
.
Robert,
.
You are only scratching the surface for the Jrock out there. What you have
is good, no doubt, but be sure to check out the best:
.
1. Versailles
2. Malice Mizer
3. Moi dix Mois
4. Hizaki Grace Project
.
Of course there is much more out there, but Versailles and Hizaki Grace
Project are, hands down, the best of the best with Malice Mizer and Moi dix
Mois running a close second.
.
And, of course, don't forget Gackt. After he left Malice Mizer he started
his own solo career. His music is tamer than my usual fare, but I do enjoy
his work. (Me and 3 billion other rabid fangirls.)

You are right, Justin. It was only a small scratch. I believe that a good leader should always act like a crooked poker player. He or she should always have some aces up the sleeve! Why tell everyone everything all at one time, like what I know about J-pop? If I learn something new about J-pop, why not ask questions about it? I already know about composer Hitoshi Sakimoto who is a veteran video game composer with almost 23 years experience to his credit and that he worked with Avex A Group. Here is a cool website so you can read something about Hitoshi:
.
.
Today I am trying to find out information about Yumi Shimazu and it's taking quite a bit of time. I already know that Yumi has done work on a CD called Those Who Distorted Cellythm.
.
I have also been checking into anime series called Tarodora and The Library Wars, as well as Birdy The Mighty Decode.
.
Remember in one of my emails that I talked about Arms Studio. For the life of me, I tried to remember what work that company had done in the past. I check into it and found on the Internet that Arms Studio had worked on Elfen Lied.
.
Do how are things going with you?
.
Anime series called Kaze No Stigam was released by Funimation Entertainment here in the US. The director is Junichi Skata and the animation was done by good, old Studio Gonzo. Question: has anyone seen this anime series yet? Here's a movie trailer for you to look at and enjoy.

Aug 15, 2009, The Wallflower returns for another viewing by the NC Rowan County Anime Group. The manga is done by Tomoko Hayakawa. The Wallflower director is Shinichi Watanabe. Animation is done by Nippon Studio. Nippon is best remembered for their 1978 work in Conan The Boy Of The Future. Shinichi Watanabe also worked on the anime series Excel Saga, and Tenchi Muyo GPX.
.
In August 2009, the NC Rowan County Anime Group will be having a small display set up at the Main Public Library in Salisbury on Manga and Anime, Cosplay Photos, J-Pop, Anime Magazine, our group flyers from the past, and some convention program guides.
.
Take care and have a very good day.
