The Little voice that rings
in my heart says:
'I like that feeling of my
dog tags around my neck.
I like that feeling that
At any time an army of 20,000 men
could come running at my tent.
I like that feeling of
being clean but not sanitized.
I like that feeling my weapon
gives of attachment.
I like that feeling of
sweat as it trickles down
to my weapon, as I sit
there waiting...Waiting...
For dog tags,
for the wars that haven't
even happened yet,
for the showers in the desert,
and for the thing every soul longs
for......FREEDOM!'
