END OF LIFE CARE" GUIDE IS BOOKLET FOR OUR WOUNDED VETERANS...LIKE SENIORS THEY ARE NO LONGER WANTED NOR NEEDED IN OBAMALAND

August 23, 2009

It just keeps on getting more $hitty under the Obama "leadership" as wounded Veterans are to be included in End Of Life Care options like seniors are. This should really make anyone that feels like they want to fight for this country stop and reconsider. If you come home missing arms or legs or have brain trauma that makes you unable to work and pay taxes to the ingrates in this government then you like the seniors that have reached the point they can no longer work and pay taxes are a burden that needs to decide if your life is worth living any longer and if you would be better off dead.Tammy Duckworth who is an assistant secretary to Veterans Affairs says"This booklet or guide is simply a tool and that its ultimately about healthcare for veterans." Every veteran thats came back from useless wars like20Iraq and Afghanistan or any other of the political battles that have been fought for profiteering, and are severely wounded will be given the options laid out in this guide to decide if his or her life is worth living anymore. It seems that the elected servants in Washington DC are the only ones whose lives are worth living and hanging on to and are exempt from the crappy healthcare they want to dish out to the American population.Even our heros who went off to war and came home wounded and broken both in body and spirit are on the chop block in Obama's Democratic Healthcare nightmare. One can hope that the call for Obama's impeachment will come soon and that this Socialist bum will learn the hard way that Americans arent as stupid as he thought we were. But to pick on our wounded heros and include them in End of Life care shows this bastard has sunk to new depths of vileness and depravity. What a shame.

Congressman Taylor:
I know there are some very dumb members in the house and senate of the United States of America and I know you are not one of them, so here goes.
When I read the below article I almost lost all of my Baptist religion this morning, but then I said to myself I have to consider the caliber of people who wrote this bill up in the first place.
I know most people in Washington consider the American military men and women just fodder for body bags when it comes to defending this country.
I know the following is going to sound harsh, but this is the way I feel things are going with some of the dumb asses in Washington.
I guess they are going to write a clause in the bill where the Army, Air Forces military medical people, the navy and Coast Guard corpsman start carrying side arms and they will have order to shoot the very serious wounded troops in the field so they will not have to worry about trying to keep them alive when they get back to the aid station and back state side.
So you will have to over look my way of thinking, bit I have two sons who are in the Mississippi National Guard. They have already served one tour in Afghanistan. One is in Iraq at the present time (he got there in June 2009 for one year), the other one will be in Iraq come march of 2010. I sure as hell wouldn't like to see their life ended because they has a very serious wound that would cause then to be a burden on this country for the rest of their life no matter what shape they were in.
You people need to do something about the people who are writing these stupid rules into the health and veterans care system of this country.

Guide for Veterans

Sen. Arlen Specter on Sunday called for hearings to scrutinize a guide for veterans' end-of-life care which one former Bush official says sends a "hurry-up-and-die" message to injured troops.
The guide, called "Your Life, Your Choices," was suspended under the Bush administration but has been revived under the current Department of Veterans Affairs.
Jim Towey, former director of the White House Office of Faith-Based Initiatives, told "FOX News Sunday" that the document makes injured veterans feel like a burden, encourages the severely injured to die and should be tossed out.
Asked about the document, Specter, a member of the Veterans' Affairs Committee, said it raises "a lot of questions" and that he would call for hearings immediately.
"I think consideration ought to be given right now to suspending it pending hearings," Specter, D-Pa., told "FOX News Sunday."
Towey first wrote about the revival of the manual last week in The Wall Street Journal.
=0 A"This is a slippery slope," he said Sunday. "When you look at the book it makes people feel like they're a burden and they should do the decent thing and die. ... When a veteran comes back from Iraq, they shouldn't be given a book like this."
Towey called the guide "fundamentally flawed" and said it should be pulled from the Web site.
But Tammy Duckworth, an injured veteran who is the assistant secretary for the Department of Veterans Affairs, said the manual is still under revision -- as stated in a disclaimer on the official Web site -- and has not officially been "reinstated."
She said it was one of many options for injured veterans, calling it "simply a tool."
"This ultimately is about the ... health care for veterans," Duckworth said.
Though Duckworth said the document has not been fully vetted, an official directive from July tells VA health practitioners to refer veterans to the document· Duckworth questioned whether that directive had been authorized at the highest levels.
Towey said the questions posed by the guide embed the suggestion that veterans who are suffering may want to choose death.
One section titled, "What Makes Your Life Worth Living?," offers a checklist of scenarios -- the person filling out the form is asked to rate whether life would be worth living under each of them.
"I am a severe financial burden on my family," says one of them. "My situation causes severe emotional burden for my family," says another.
