A MOTHERS LOVE, ENDLESS
Well the new year is here and our families have gone home to go back to work and some are back to keeping our country free once again.
My oldest was home for 2 weeks. He left yesterday and "man I sure hated to see him go" but I know that he needs to get back. He is in the Navy and he had to go to school to learn how to work on the helicopters. While he was here I got him a tatoo just like the one my youngest has in memorie of there opa. I wanted him to go back to Norfolk with it on him he, is so proud of his opa and I am so proud of him and I know that my father is proud of him as well.
I was informed by my son that if he gets the chance, he wants to go to Bahran to work on helicopters. I know what he really wants to do is go infintary Army/Navy. I hope that is a thought in his head. He does not need to go, we have had enough of our young men and women killed in action and we don't need any more. I am not just saying that because I don't want him to do that. I am a mother that truly loves here son. I want him coming home walking and not in a pine box. Every Mother and Father out there who has a son and a daughter in the Military knows where I am coming from. Now I wnat you to know that I am not trying to be selfish but yes I do not want him to go.
I had the best 2 weeks any mother could ever ask for. I tried to spend as much time with him as I could. He left yesteday and man I sure hated to see him go.
My other 2 kids had a great time being with there big brother as well. I have to say though I sure do like my peace and quite. They tend tobe very loud when there are all together. My boyfriend said to me "man I bet they were a hand full when they were growing up." I enjoyed being mom again for those 2 weeks, doing there laundry, cooking dinner for them and just being around with them.
I hope that each and every one of you had a good time at Christmas and the New Year as I did and I also hope that this year brings you many happy things.
