I like and enjoy meeting new people and becoming friends with them. I am always willing to listen to any body that needs a friend. But that said here's my do's and don'ts.
Friends :
1. care about each other.
2. there's never a reason to lie.
3. never a reason to purposely hurt someone.
4. what goes around will come around, so if all you know is meanness, and looking down on people, then what have you accomplished? Life is hard enough for everyone without making it harder.
5.If I tell you that I love you , and I adore you, and that you are special to me.I mean every word.
refer to number two if you have questions.
6. I feel in my own heart for good people that are hurting, in many ways, whether it be loss of job, house caught on fire, eviction, people hooked on drugs, and alchohol.
7. I do not use drugs myself, I experimented in high school like a fool, until I noticed that the money I was spending made me high for an hour, then I came back to same feeling I had before I got high.Only difference was now I didn't have any money, that was just stupid in my book.So I made corrections.
8. I never have and never will abuse, hurt, put down, or treat any woman like she is beneath me.
You will never hear me calling a woman a ho, slut, skank,or bitch. I waswn't raised that way, and FYI
there's a difference I might say something at times like you have a bitchy attitude today but that is NOT an insult just kind of a " hey your complaining too much" just calm down kind of thing.
9. Women deserve respect, treat them the way you yourself want to be treated and you will rarely have problems.
10. I don't steal things, I work extremely hard for all I have.I bet you do too.
11.Family are those that you love and care about and that love and care about you. You can have people you aren't related to that you feel are family.I do.
12.We are all in this world together, try seeing things through the eyes of your neighbor, I have met many wonderful people from all races, and I get along with them why? Because I try to understand where they are coming from what's their outlook on life, it mmay be different than yours, but they deserve respect just the same.
13.I have GREAT RESPECT for Native Americans in this country and in case you don't know this let me tell you point blank, THEY WERE HERE FIRST! And they have suffered more indignity and humiliation, and more robbery and extinction than any other race in America bar none!Sure there was slavery in the 1800's but if you look at the things many whites of the times did against them it's horrible.
The only other thing that comes close and may surpass that would be the halocaust during nazi germany's Hitler era. Honestly I don't know which was worse because no one kept records of what the Native Americans suffered. When we fought them and they were slaughtered men women and children they claimed it was a great battle, but whenthey fought us and slaughtered the troops sent against them , while they were only defending their children and homes it was called a massacre. I am not a die hard liberal, I don't believe that the problems of our country can all be solved through welfare etc. I believ in live and let live, be good to your neighbor and in turn they will be good to you. I am not naive , I know that there are people out there filled with greed and hatred. But I'll choose my way of thinking and living ,ever mindful that someone just on a whim may be out there to try and kill and steal from my family. In that case I have adapted a Native american saying and memorized it. Today is a Good Day to die! and what that means to me is simple. Live your life as best you can , love people, nature as best you can, do right by those you meet, lend a helping hand when you can, but always be prepared yourself and your spirit, in case this is your last day. No one knows when it's their time, but we shouldn't live in fear of it either, all that lives is born to die.

didn't meant to ramble on but there it is, my philosophy I am sure its not complete cause I learn new things every day.

Express Train to Hell

A New Jersey Ghost Story

retold by

S.E. Schlosser

For days, a ragged old man had hung around the Newark Central Station. The stationmaster kept running him off, but night after night he would return. He kept accosting people, shouting: "It's coming for me! It's coming!" Whenever anyone asked him what was coming for him, he would just clutch his head and cry: "I done wrong! I killed a man that cheated me at cards, and now I'm going to pay!"

The stationmaster finally took the man aside and threatened to call the police if he did not cease and desist. The old man rolled his eyes and replied: "The Express Train for Hell is coming for my soul! You've got to help me." He broke away from the stationmaster and ran for the door. The time was two minutes to midnight. At that moment, new sound introduced itself. A long whistle blew, once, twice. The stationmaster was startled. The next train wasn't due until 12:05.

The old tramp started screaming when he heard the whistle. The stationmaster could hear the roar and chug of a steam train, approaching fast. Approaching too fast to stop at the station. The old man was standing at the edge of the platform, staring down the tracks in frozen terror. The stationmaster ran forward and grabbed hold of the old tramp to pull him out of harm's way.

The train whistle sounded again. A warm rush of air blew against everyone near the platform and the stationmaster heard the roar of an invisible train passing directly in front of him. He heard the hiss of the steam and the screech of flanges against iron rails; he felt the wind whipping our hair and faces, but he saw nothing.

Beneath his grip, the old tramp gave a terrible wail. Then he vanished, leaving the stationmaster empty-handed. The roar of the invisible train faded into the distance and then ceased. The stationmaster glanced at the station clock. It was midnight.

The stationmaster stared blankly at the tracks. Around him, the waiting passengers and other bystanders were gasping and murmuring in fright. "Good lord, he was right," the stationmaster murmured to himself. "It did come for him." He pulled out a handkerchief and wiped his sweating, bald head with it.

A trembling man standing nearby approached the stationmaster: "Sir, what was that?" he asked. "Son, I believe that was the Express Train to Hell," said the stationmaster. He shook his head and that seemed to bring him to his senses. "Why don't you go back into the station and pour yourself a drink?" he suggested to the trembling man.

He pushed the man through the station door and then turned to address the dazed and frightened passengers. "Nothing to worry about folks," he said. "It was just an express train passing through. The next train will be here in five minutes." The stationmaster's reassuring manner calmed everyone. People turned away from the empty tracks and settled back into their seats, whispering to each other about the strange events that had just taken place.

Then the stationmaster went into his office, closed the door, and poured himself a stiff drink to calm his nerves. "Well, that's one for the books," he muttered aloud. "I wonder if I should put it on the schedule; 12 am-Express Train to Hell."

Shaking his head, he fortified himself with one more brandy and then went back to work.

Whatever is in our hearts is in our sight. To love something or someone makes us see the beauty of it, not the wrong. It is to our advantage to be gentle in our observations, to see and cultivate the best in who we are and in those around us. We love quiet; we suffer the mouse to play; when the woods are rustled by the wind, we fear not....~ breathe in the beauty of the autumn day brother Phil.. enjoy
