A prelude into Darkness...I’m beside myself, juxtaposed, in a state of disarray, my mind clouded with complex thoughts and unanswerable questions. I cannot afford to lose what little sanity I have left. My senses are dulled, my body numb to any feeling, emotionless to your needs. Those once human are now formless, shape-shifting figures, shells without identity. I see emptiness, a hollow; I see nothing inside these beings. I allow myself to drift away further into the void. Darkness quickly surrounds me, engulfing my heart, my being drowning further into the unknown. My soul, trapped for an eternity. One cannot begin to fathom the disparity. Countless hours pass as I search this vast wasteland for an answer. I need to find a guiding light, a kindred spirit who will free me of my own prison. Only then can I find solace.
