I'm a tough shell to crack, but deep down inside, I'm full of nougat-y goodness. I'm looking for a woman who can challenge me intellectually. I'm well-read and like books, art, and theatre. I don't pay much attention to TV, but love to laugh at The Office and South Park. Movies are great, and I'm always up for watching one. I'm a social drinker and reformed smoker. I like going out with friends for beer and karaoke. I'll sing like there is no tomorrow and dance like the world ended yesterday. Yes, that means I don't dance. I used to suffer from "White Knight Syndrome," and am no longer looking for a damsel in distress. I've got a good job that I've held for a long, long time. I have a nice car and home I'm proud of. I don't need a mom or a maid, just interested in someone to spend free time with. My biggest pet peeve is people who can't tell the difference between a llama and an alpaca. Ok, not really.

Some of my favorite writers are: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Samuel Beckett, Flannery O'Connor, Jeffery Deaver, Stephen King, and Michael Crichton; there are others, but I won't go on here.
Movies are harder to pick from, but anything by Quentin Tarantino, The Commitments, Dead Again, Talk Radio, Dodgeball, and on and on.
I love Classic Rock, but there are modern groups I dig, and punk rock is great. Incidentally, I am proud of the fact that I can play the bass guitar at almost the same level as the late, great Sid Vicious.
I'm not too picky about food. Chinese food is my favorite. Beets and cooked carrots are about all I will flat out refuse
