This page is for the Soldiers and the families that show support for them.

I see public outrage everyday when they hear that we lost yet another American soldier in the War we are fighting in Iraq. My emotions are mixed... I am proud that we have stepped up to the plate to help the opressed. In this war we have freed women and we have freed slaves. Rape rooms are gone, and enslaved citizens are now free. It saddens my heart when I see that an American soldier has given his life, but it saddens my heart more when I think of how we compensate that soldier for the sacrifices that both they and their family make everyday. Most people dont know but, a soldier though the rank of corporal or Specialist aka E-4 qualifies for WIC and Welfare? No this is not a special program that allows these soldiers to get the addtional resources, this is due to the fact that many soldiers make FAR less than miminum wage, and many times work around the clock with no additional compensation. Yet... they wear the uniform with pride, and serve our country with dignity. God Bless our Soldiers and God Bless the USA.
