Hi! I am NOT over 40, I am $39.99 plus shipping & handling! Okay, so I am a 49 year old female. I am a wife, mother and a grandma. I live in California. My husband and I just celebrated our 30th Anniversary in August. Our daughter and grand-daughter live with us and I take care of our grand-daughter while our daughter works and goes to college. She will graduate this month with her BA and will then go on to get her Masters. I will begin Homeschooling our grand-daughter this month(September 2006). I also sell on eBay as my actual work. We also share our home with a tiny Himalayan Manx cat named Calamity, a Calico/Tabby mix named Milky Way, a Mastiff/Rott mix puppy (11 weeks old) named Crockett (After Davy Crockett) and a lot of fresh water fish. We love going up to Lake Tahoe or spending time at the ocean. We also love going to Pier 39 and to Apple Hill each year and camping at Wright's Beach.I don't like liars, cheaters or bullshitters! I don't have time for people who sit around feeling sorry for themselves for a long time. Sarcasm is one service I DO provide! I don't judge people by their race, religion, gender, sexual preferences, age etc. I judge people on who they are and how they treat other people. I get angry when people claim that racism is only a "White" thing. There are plenty of people on this earth who hate people just because they are white. Racism is a multi edged sword, that cuts ALL ways! People need to learn to look beneath skin color and other surface issues and just meet the heart and soul of other people. Sadly, I don't think that will completely happen. I only hate 3 people in this world, two of them are the ones that killed my brother. I will go to my grave hating them!I really can't think of anything else to say about myself. I love meeting new people and making new friends, so "Add" me if you like and I will do the same for you. My Husband & My Mom
My husband has devoted the past 30 years to taking care of and providing for our daughter, grand-daughter and myself. He is a loving, giving and unselfish man who is always right there to help when someone needs him. He is the most wonderful man in the world!
My Mom is the strongest person I know. She pretty much raised 6 children on her own. She is what holds our family together despite losing her first born son to being murdered. She loves her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, Son-In-Laws and Daughter-In-Law. She has given all of us the strength and courage to go on after any tragedy we have endured. She got me through the loss of my son (stillborn) when I thought I couldn't survive the loss. She has taught me so much and I love her with all my heart.
My other heroes are ALL of the men and women in our Armed Forces and the families of them all. You are truly "Heroes" and I am proud of each and every one of you. You are in my heart, thoughts and prayers. I pray that you will all return safely to your loved ones and to our wonderful country!!
