About our group!
Augusta Paranormal Investigations & Research was formed in September 2006 by founders, Aaron and Gil, who have both been involved in the paranormal world for several years. We decided to form our own group after many years working alongside others and researching the paranormal. We have been joined on our quest by a great team of believers who, like ourselves, take a skeptical approach first.
Goal
The goal of the group is to seek out and authenticate evidence of ghosts, research ghost stories, sightings and conduct investigations into paranormal activity in the CSRA area. One of our main goals is to seek out allegedly haunted locations and to assist those who are experiencing problems with the paranormal. The group members then look for authentic evidence of the paranormal and try to determine if the location is haunted. All investigations done free of charge.

AARON Founder / Lead Investigator My name is Aaron and am the founder and lead investigator for the group. I started up the group to be able to share my experiences with others that are into the paranormal. I've been around the paranormal for years now. After drowning in a tub at age 11 and finding out that I had epilepsy, opened up a whole new world for me in the paranormal. Am very sensitive because of this and able to feel and see things that maybe others would have a hard time doing. It comes in handy in investigations.
GIL Founder / Investigator
Hi, I am Gil. I have been interested in the paranormal for a long time. I have been investigating this area of the paranormal for about two years now, but my knowledge and experience in this field go back way further. When it comes to investigating the unknown, we take a scientific approach to uncovering evidence of a haunting. Our first goal is to disprove that an area is haunted, and then whatever evidence that is uncovered is carefully scrutinized to rule out any natural phenomena. I enjoy investigating the paranormal or should I say the misunderstood normalcy of the human condition.
