I live on an island. I call it paradise. Everyday to wake up and have my dreams just float across water that is so flat it’s like a sheet of glass. Also where you can jump off the tallest bridges and not get hurt but also dive to depth of water in the ocean with only a single breath of air. I live in a place where we have the greatest sunrises and some of the most spectacular sunset. Water is all you see for miles-upon-miles. My friends and I are together forever. We travel together we party together nothing stops us.We never lose friends we only retire with them later on. Beaches are our backyards and open water is all we know. We look forward to the weekends for BBQs on the boats. Palm trees become our shelters. Flip flops and bathing suits are a daily attire. Hurricanes are just another reason to have a party they always will be the greatest time of the year. Hammocks seem to make good beds. We who live on these islands know that we are rare and there are not many of us so we cherish what we are given. I am a local Conch and if you don't know what that is--well sorry. The island on which I live is definatly not the most sexiest but where everyone and everything is equal. Your never lonely but always content. Nothing stops me from taking a chance in life on this pleasant island I call home. Everyone here in my life is happy with themselves and we do what we have to, to get where we need to. Coconuts are breakfast, local fruits are lunch, and fish for dinner. I love the thought that nothing on these islands is going to last forever, I live my life here on a day-to-day basis and I enjoy every moment of it with my dog and family. This is it, it’s called paradise, and it’s my home.
