1. The Distillers: Not only are they a kick ass punk band, but they are. . . Well My favorite kick ass punk band. Brodie Shouts out her angst in the world, in trivial times such as these when nothing seems to go right in your day. Distillers to save the day! Ok so maybe thats cheezey, but it's the fucking truth. I love the fast beats. Classicly punk rock sound for a new generation of starving minds who are desperate to hear something different thats not top fourty like Simple plan, or Good Charlotte. This band sells out, but does it in a way that still keeps them in control of their music. 2. Flogging Molly: I love the music, unlike anything I have really ever heard, and it all stays in rythm. Not like Radiohead, and simple enough to keep you jamming with them, this band is incredible. 3. Radiohead: second generation pioneers of the early "grunge/ electronica" sound, Thom Yorke's painfull lyrics create a deranged hybrid sound that keeps you listening and repeating songs like Paranoid Android, and Karma police. 4. The Goo Goo Dolls: Johhny's lyrics mixed with great backing makes this band a constant smash on almost all the mainstream charts. Their album Dizzy up the girl was incredible. Not just a one or two song cd and then switch. It's one of the few that I can sing right through till the end. 5. Queen: There is nothing I can say about queen that would serve them justice, other then that they were fucking incredible. I only wish I could have seen them in concert. Freddie Mercury must have been something of a sight at a live show.
