I have a 11 year old girl who is in 5th grade ... she spent a night over her friends house and saw her friend waking up getting ready for school walking to school eating breakfast all by herself because he mom is a crossing guard and she goes to work earlier.

I usuallly wake her up make her breakfast tell her to get ready for school and walk with her to school (Sometimes only when I meet a friend for coffee if not I let her go to school on her own)

Now she wants me to wake her up at 7am then go back to bed and she will do everything on her own and leave the house at 8:45am for school.

My question is should I let her do it on her own or just keep doing the routine.
